Thanksgiving 2009

We had an amazing time in Cincinnati for Thanksgiving with family! It was Truman's first time to go up there and he had his first tastes of Skyline and Graeters. We drove up there with my mom and brother. The drive wasn't too bad at all, we had very little traffic both ways! We celebrated Mom's birthday Saturday on the drive home! Now we get to look forward to Christmas! 3 weeks of school and Winter Break will be here! It's going to be a busy couple of weeks too! We're moving into our first apartment Tuesday, have classes at the hospital on Saturday, a shower on Sunday, staff holiday party the following Saturday, another shower on that Sunday! So the next few weeks will fly by I'm sure!

So we went in yesterday for another checkup! So far, everything with baby Liam is going along wonderfully! After listening to the heart tones, Dr. J said that baby is doing "amazingly great!" I guess that's really all we need to know!

As of yesterday our countdown to Liam's arrival was two months! It just keeps flying by, even more as the due date gets closer!

We're making a road trip up to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving with my mom and brother to visit Mom's side of the family. Grandma just passed away this past weekend so Mom is up there right now with her brothers and sister. We'll be going up to spend time with everyone and visit Grandpa and Grandma at the cemetery. I bet she's glad to be back with him again. When he first passed away her Alzheimers(sp?) wasn't absolutely horrible yet, she knew her husband wasn't with her anymore but couldn't remember why and that was four years ago.

Soon after our trip to Cincinnati we'll be having our 36 week sono to see baby Liam again and I absolutely can't wait!

October is here!

October is here and we're about 25 weeks! We have decided on a name - Liam James! And he will be here before we know it! It's all gone by so quickly so far!

I'm still loving teaching! How nice it is to have a job that you enjoy! It would definitely be even harder to wake up in the morning if I didn't!

No big October plans, besides Truman's birthday! :) He's already talked me into buying him (and giving him) a couple new golf clubs! He's spoiled!

Truman's Coming Home!

After being in San Diego for the past 6 weeks, Truman is going to be home tonight! He's in the air as we speak! It's an exciting time!

Little Baby Spencer

Our little baby will be here in January! The due date is January 10th and we just found out that we're going to be having a boy and couldn't be more excited!

Right now, the baby and I are enjoying getting to see Truman on TV Saturday nights kicking for the Chargers! We will know next week if he makes the team and stays out there or if he'll be coming home! Either way, it's an exciting time!

I just finished my very first week of teaching and all went well! I love all my kiddos and am excited to see all their learning this year!
